Rick & his amazing staff here at North TX Family Health have been like family to me for many years now. I have seen Rick (Dr. Templeman) for over 5 years now. There are quite a few reasons why that is the case. When he was working in another Dr office, I would try to make my appointments only with him but unfortunately sometimes I would have to get the main doctor. But now that he’s had his own practice for years and years, I never have to worry about that. I always get to meet with him specifically which is fantastic. Having such a good, longstanding relationship has helped me tremendously as I never have to repeat ailments or explain symptoms since he remembers and listens.
He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, conversational, charming, among other great qualities. But what truly separates him from the other professionals is the way he listens, gives advice, and finds a solution to any issue/ailment you may have. Rick was the only doctor I trusted after I flatlined from cardogenic Shock and he has helped me improve my health drastically. You will not find a better doctor within a 1,000 mile radius, I can assure you of that. Rick rocks!

Have been seeing Rick for many years and honestly didn’t think I could love him and Patti anymore than we already do. The love, care and special attention they give to their patients is just so very very special. Rick listens to you and goes out of his way to help you no matter how busy he is or how big your need is. Patti and Amber also go above and beyond…. You can feel their smile even on the telephone. When I needed help with my mother in law during her last years with us it was Rick & Patti who became the “Calvary”. I just cannot put into words how much they mean to our family.

I have seen Dr. Templeman for 4 years. He is the best doctor I’ve seen. He listens, he gives great advise, he doesn’t just run in and out like most doctors he actually takes the time to converse with you and shows genuine interest. He doesn’t treat addicts like we are less than or like we don’t deserve to be trusted. I will never see any other doctor as long as he is an option.

Excellent experience, from Patti and Amber at the front desk to Rick the health care professional. I am used to doctors coming in to the room and spending 3 minutes and only taking care of one problem you have at a time. Rick takes his time to explain what’s going on in your body with the disease or sickness you are suffering from, you never feel rushed you get a chance to talk about all that’s going on health wise it’s a very nice and calm atmosphere, highly recommended.

The front staff (Patti and Amber) are super sweet and helpful and Dr. Richard Templeman is a rarity. He takes his time, is passionate about thoroughly explaining things to you. You never leave feeling rushed or unheard. Love having someone in town that takes a look at the whole person and not just treat everyone the same.

Rick is an amazing practitioner! I’ve been a patient for a few years now and he not only takes the time to really listen to me, but he makes sure that I’m totally informed and understand everything going on. He even takes the time to research medication, explain risks vs benefits, explain how a medication works and even costs. Rick is a Godsend for me and many others!
